GUIDELINES
OTHER NOTES:
Creative non-fiction and fiction: Pieces may not exceed 5000 words. Submission must be double-spaced with readable 12 pt. font. Only accept doc., docx., or pdf.
Poetry: Limited to 5 poems per submission. Must be single-spaced with readable 12 pt. font. Only accept doc., docx., or pdf.
Visual Art: Limited to 2 per submission. Please send in a JPEG or PNG file.
Flash Fiction: Pieces must be between 500-1000 words to be considered. Must be single spaced with readable 12 pt. font. Only accept doc., docx., or pdf.

- Any work that promotes hate speech will not be considered.
- must be previously unpublished.
- Please allow 2-4 weeks for us to read submissions.
- YOU CAN ONLY SUBMIT TWO PIECES AT A TIME.
- FOR THOSE SUBMITTING POETRY: IF YOU SUBMIT THE FULL FIVE POEMS, WE WILL ONLY CONSIDER TWO/THREE DUE TO SPACE.

please be advised:
- For those submitting their books for review, you must send them in by the 15th of every submission month!!! anything submitted after that will not be considered.
- For author interviews, PLEASE include two photos during the time of submission. if they are not included, we will deny it.
- during submission, please include the following:
- Name
- Pronouns
- social media handles
- Optional: Author Bio (No more than 200 words)
- If these are not included during the time of submission, your piece will not be considered. please make sure everything is correct before submitting because we will not update the issue once it is published.

Yes, you can! If you happen to have a social media profile for your author brand, feel free to let us know.
HOW DO BOOK REVIEWS WORK?
If you’re an indie author who would like a review of their book, email us at fontainepublications@gmail.com
As for how many we’ll accept, we can only allow two book reviews per issue due to our small team. If your book isn’t picked, you will be placed on a waitlist to be showcased in future issues.
CAN WE INQUIRE ABOUT AUTHOR INTERVIEWS/BOOK REVIEWS IN THE SAME EMAIL AS OUR SUBMISSIONS?
Yes, you can! This is so we don’t have an influx of emails to go through. Just specify if you’re looking for an author interview or a book review in your email.
WHAT GENRES DO YOU ACCEPT? IS THERE AN AGE RANGE?
GENRES: Fantasy, Romance, Contemporary (YA & NA), Sci-Fi, Horror, Thrillers, Middle-Grade, Erotica, Paranormal Romance, and Manga.
AGE RANGE: Any age range is welcome.
